Electric Handpieces

The “handpiece” is the dentist’s drill.  Traditionally we have used air driven handpieces that have very low torque and therefore have to be rotated at very high speeds.  This lends to the high pitch screech we hear when the dentist starts to drill.  At Alpine Endodontics we have electric handpieces with high torque that make very little noise.
