Meet The Doctor

dr-van-moorlehemDr. Van Moorlehem is a native of Utah and a graduate of Timpview High School in Provo. He attended Dixie College in St. George, UT in 1991. After 2 years in Dixie he traveled to Guatemala where he served a 2 year service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Upon returning to Utah in 1995, he entered the University of Utah where he received a BS degree in biology in 1998. Later that year he entered dental school at Boston University. Each of the four years of dental school he was named to the Dean’s Honor List. In 2002 he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the National Honor Dental Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). Upon completion of dental school he returned to Salt Lake City to practice as a general dentist, performing all aspects of dentistry. In 2005 Dr. Van Moorlehem returned to Boston where he received his endodontic specialty training at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, Department of Post-Graduate Endodontics. Upon completing his specialty training in 2007 he returned to Salt Lake City and worked as an endodontist. In the spring of 2009 he founded his own practice, Alpine Endodontics.

Dr. Van Moorlehem is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association and the Utah Association of Endodontists.

He is married with three children. He enjoys the great outdoors and travel.
